A modern European city of over 2 million people, Paris, France needs to receive the truth of Christ’s love. The “city of light”, as it is often called, is actually drenched in spiritual darkness. Only about 7 out of 1000 people claim Christ as Savior.

The good news is that there is a small but increasing number of local churches and gatherings where followers of Jesus meet. There is an urgent need for many more, and specifically for culturally-relevant places where secular seekers can experience authentic relationship and a clear message.

If Paris can be touched with the gospel, this will touch France and all of Europe. But this begins with reaching the secular, unreached majority: the 99% who don’t know Christ.

We have lived in France for a total of 8 years and desire to help meet spiritual needs among the residents of Paris through non-traditional means, such as discussion groups, artistic outreach, English discussion, apologetics, etc. We desire to build a foundation for a new church in the center of Paris. We hope to return to France by the summer of 2007.
